Denise ("Nissi") Braverlly's Power Piece Pendant: The Wolf Song
Updated: 1 day ago

Nissi Braverlly, Owner and Therapist of Hope & Wellness Center located in Omaha, NE, has a presence that wraps you in the warmest, gentlest blanket you will ever know! Nissi offers a powerful well of hope that she helps all of us nourish ourselves from, and sees each of us as whole humans with our own series of rooms that she will help us discover, reclaim, redecorate, celebrate, or do with whatever brings us the most support. Her energy, generosity, and presence creates space that is the truest form of pure, unconditional love.
Denise Braverlly's Power Piece Pendant, "The Wolf Song," is the origin story of Power Piece Jewelry! The wolf represents the strong balance between freedom to be one's true self and the deep loyalty to family and community, a balance Nissi holds with brilliance. Nissi will cheer you on to walk your own path while simultaneously holding space for your belonging in community. And the wolf in her pendant reminds her that she also belongs to several wolf packs in her wholeness and is a deeply valued member in each one. The amethyst stalactite creates a moody sky that also forms the silhouette of mountains, reminding Nissi of her strong, wise self in the mountain peak, and the one who is so attuned to the field that connects us, she literally calls the wind from the sky. And the iolite, with origin stories of helping Viking sailors (her ancestors) navigate by looking through the crystals to find the sun during cloudy days, reminds Nissi that all she has to do is look through her lens of hope and wholeness to find her sun on cloudy days.
If you're feeling anything less than whole, Nissi is the one to help you connect with the hope and wisdom that will warmly hug you until you feel whole again. Whether through individual or group sessions utilizing therapy, nature (including labyrinths!), ceremony, coaching, etc., Nissi brings her generous, loving, teacher essence to nourish your soul.
Nissi is also one of the most creative souls I know and crafts all kinds of amazing, whimsical goods in her free time, including altar kits, wreaths, and incredible simmer pot blends! Check out her Etsy shop here.
One of my favorite memories from this last year (apart from her hugs and her protective, Mama-wolf voice telling me to sit down in her truck bed while driving, LOL) was when Nissi gave me permission to use a labyrinth during her class in any way that served me, and so I flew over it! I didn't follow the circular path meditatively slow until reaching the center as I thought were the rules of labyrinths; instead I ran right through it from one side to the other, arms outstretched like wings, feeling the freedom of breaking the societal and self-imposed norms I was limiting myself with. Nissi created such an amazing and healing experience for me around the labyrinth I still connect with that feeling today.
Thank you dear Nissi, I am so incredible lucky to know you!
